1998 Lexus SC 300SECTION GS300 & GS400
- Disconnect negative battery cable. Carefully remove door window upper trim, door handle bezel and power window switch. Remove courtesy light from door panel. Remove screws and door panel. Remove upper speaker, door frame garnish and door handle. Remove mirror assembly screws. Disconnect electrical connector and remove mirror assembly.
- On mirrors with position memory, connect battery positive lead to terminal No. 7 and negative lead to terminal No. 8. On mirrors with position memory, connect battery positive lead to terminal No. 12 and negative lead to terminal No. 13. See Figure or Figure . If mirror does not become warm after a few seconds, replace mirror assembly.
