  • Terminating resistance fault
  • Transmitting controller bus off
  • Transmitting controller disconnected
  • Transmitting controller power, fuse or ground fault
  • Transmitting controller H/W, S/W fault
  • CAN line noise
  • HPCU fault (CAN module fault)
  • APS faulty
    CAUTION: * Do not replace the FR_CMR.
Enable Condition
  • Engine "ON", signal received from EMS (more than 2s)
  • Ignition "ON" (more than 2s)
  • Normal 12V battery voltage status (12V battery voltage is 9 to 16V)
  • Variant Coding complete
  • CAN communication line normal
Threshold Value
  • HPCU message is not received
Detecting Time Case 1, 2
  • 2s
Case 3, 4
  • 0.5s
Symptom Case 1
  • FCA. DAW, SCC, LFA, HDA disabled
  • FCA warning lamp turns on
Case 2
  • DAW, LFA, HDA disabled
  • FCA warning lamp turns on
Case 3
  • FCA. DAW, SCC, NSCC, LFA, HDA disabled
  • FCA warning lamp turns on
Case 4
  • FCA. SCC, NSCC, HDA disabled
  • FCA warning lamp turns on
Disable Condition
  • When receiving HPCU CAN messages
