    • CAN high, low line short to each other and short to ground
  • Terminating resistance fault
  • Transmitting controller bus off
  • Transmitting controller disconnected
  • Transmitting controller power, fuse or ground fault
  • Transmitting controller H/W, S/W fault
  • CAN line noise
  • ECM fault (CAN module fault)
  • Faulty FR_CMR
    CAUTION: * Do not replace the FR_CMR.
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON" (more than 2s)
  • Normal 12V battery voltage status (12V battery voltage is 9 to 16V)
  • Variant coding complete
  • CAN communication line normal

  • Invalid EMS CAN message is received
Detecting Time Case 1, 3, 4, 5
  • 0.5s

  • FCA, LKA, ISLW, ISLA, DAW, HBA, SCC, NSCC, LFA, HDA disabled
  • Warning lamp turns on

  • FCA, DAW, SCC, NSCC, HDA disabled

  • When EMS CAN signal is normal received
