Repair Procedures: Removal
2021 Kia K5 LXS, AWDSECTION Removal
NOTE:
- When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver or using a prying trim tool, wrap protective tape around the tool and related parts to prevent damage.
- Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces without marring the surface.
- Be careful not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
- Remove the console upper cover.
(Refer to Body - " FLOOR CONSOLE ASSEMBLY ")
- Remove the wireless power charger pad (A).
- Disconnect the main connector fastener (A), console switch connector (B) and wireless power charger indicator connector (C).
- Remove the cup holder assembly (A) after loosening the mounting screws.
- Remove the console switch (A) after loosening the mounting screws.
