Inspection Condition Inspection Procedure Reference
  1. Ignition "ON" and engine "OFF".
  1. Connect KDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. Perform "Vehicle S/W Management" of concerned component with KDS.

Good 

  • Fault might be caused by not performing variant coding after MFC ECU replacement. Go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.

No Good 

  • Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
  • If no problems were found with the circuits or connectors, replace the MFC ECU and go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.

    * In case of replacing MFC ECU, perform following "Vehicle S/W Management" procedures
