  1. Ignition "OFF"
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
A/V & Navigation head unit harness connector 10/11/22/33 (power) Chassis ground - B+
A/V & Navigation head unit harness connector 12/13 (ground) Chassis ground - Approx. below 1Ω

Good 

  • Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or AVN's connector or was repaired and AVN memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "Verification of vehicle Repair" procedure.
  • Repair as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.

No Good 

  • Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
  • If no problems were found with the circuits or connectors, replace the A/V & Navigation head unit and go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
