Inspection Condition (+) Probe (-) Probe Specification
Connector Terminal Connector Terminal
  1. Ignition "ON".
SCC (FCA) connector 3 (C-CAN high) Chassis ground - Fig.1
SCC (FCA) connector 2 (C-CAN low) Chassis ground -
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect battery (-) cable.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
SCC (FCA) connector 3 (C-CAN high) Chassis ground - ∞ (infinite)Ω
SCC (FCA) connector 2 (C-CAN low) Chassis ground -
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
SCC (FCA) connector 3 (C-CAN high) ICU connector 9 (C-CAN high) below 1Ω
SCC (FCA) connector 2 (C-CAN low) ICU connector 10 (C-CAN low) below 1Ω
  1. Ignition "ON".
PCM connector 77 (P-CAN high) Chassis ground - Fig.2
PCM connector 60 (P-CAN low) Chassis ground -
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect battery (-) cable.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
PCM connector 77 (P-CAN high) Chassis ground - ∞ (infinite)Ω
PCM connector 60 (P-CAN low) Chassis ground -
  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector(s) from the concerned component.
PCM connector 77 (P-CAN high) ICU connector 12 (P-CAN high) below 1Ω
PCM connector 60 (P-CAN low) ICU connector 11 (P-CAN low)

Good 

  • Check ECM/PCM, ICU, SCC (FCA) Module connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.

    * In case of replacing SCC (FCA) module, perform following "System Inspection" procedure.
