Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Signal monitoring
  • Poor connector connection
  • Open or short to ground in circuit of valve
  • Abnormal solenoid valve operation
  • Faulty ESC
Threshold Value
  • If the valve relay is switched on and corresponding solenoid driver OFF, below condition last for 60ms
    • ESC valve: solenoid voltage is lower than 2.0V
  • If the valve relay is switched off and corresponding solenoid driver ON, below condition last for 60ms
    • ESC valve: solenoid voltage is higher than 1.4V
  • If the valve relay is switched on and corresponding solenoid driver ON, below condition last for 60ms
  • ESC valve: solenoid current is higher than 6 to 11A
Warning Lamp
  • EBD/ESC/DBC/AVH warning lamp "ON"
Disable Condition
  • Ignition "OFF" and then "ON"
