DTC Strategy
  • Signal monitoring
  • Poor connector connection and open or short circuit
  • Wheel speed sensor connector and wire unstable connection
  • Water flow into wheel speed sensor connector and wiring
  • Open or short in wheel speed sensor circuit
  • Faulty wheel speed sensor
  • Faulty HECU
Enable Condition
  • Engine "ON"
  • No related DTC is stored
Threshold Value
  • If the wheel speed sensor current is out of the specific range of 3.6 to 66mA for more than 140ms
  • If the leakage current of wheel speed sensor is above specific current for more than 140ms
Warning Lamp
  • In case of failure on more than one wheel
    • ESC/DBC/AVH warning lamp "ON"
  • In case of failure on more than two wheels
    • EBD warning lamp "ON"
  • In case of failure on all wheels
    • Warning lamp "ON"
Failsafe
  • Ignition "OFF" and then "ON"
