Inspection Condition Inspection Procedure Reference
  1. Ignition "ON". (with calibration target)
  1. Connect KDS to "Data Link Connector (DLC)".
  2. Perform "Vehicle S/W Management" of concerned component with KDS.

■ In cases that require the calibration 

  1. In case of MFC ECU replacement.
  2. In case MFC ECU is removed from the windshield or bracket.
  3. In case of windshield replacement.
  4. In case MFC bracket is damaged.

■ Calibration procedure 

  1. Check for vehicle alignment and tire pressure for accurate camera calibration.
  2. Windshield must be clean and free of any dirt or object.
  3. Calibration target installation procedure as follows:
    1. Set the calibration target height approx. 88 to 92cm from the ground and align the center of target with center line of vehicle.
    2. Center of target and center of vehicle should be within -5 to +5cm
    3. Position the calibration target approx. 0cm from the center of vehicle front wheel. Horizontal line of vehicle and horizontal line of calibration target angle should be within 1 degree. (close range target setting)
    4. Perform distance target setting after performing close target setting.
    5. Position the calibration target 1.2 m from the front bumper. Horizontal line of vehicle and horizontal line of calibration target angle should be within 1 degree. (far range target setting)
