Repair Procedures: Removal
2017 Kia Rio EX, 4D HatchbackSECTION Removal
- Disconnect the battery negative cable, and wait for at least three minutes before beginning work.
- Remove the front passenger seat assembly.
(Refer to "FRONT SEAT" )
- Remove the seat track assembly.
(Refer to "FRONT SEAT" )
NOTE:- There are several DTC cases, please check below status.
Case A B1763 OCS ECU Defect Case B B1323 OCS Sensor Defect Case C B1319 OCS Required Weight Check Case D B1697 ACU Communication error - Case A. B. Remove the seat track assembly of the front passenger seat. After replacing, perform WCS reset and DTC clear.
- Case C. Perform WCS reset and accuracy check, if accuracy check result is accepted and DTC is historic, WCS can be re-used.
- Case D. Check wirings and connectors. If there is no DTC after WCS reset and DTC clear, WCS can be re-used.
- There are several DTC cases, please check below status.
