- Move the shift lever to neutral gear position.
- Remove the air cleaner assembly.
(Refer to "REPAIR PROCEDURES
- Remove the Battery and Battery Tray.
(Refer to "REMOVAL, BATTERY/TRAY ")
- Remove the control cable (B) from the control shaft after removing the pins (A).
- Remove the control shaft complete (A).
Tightening Torque:
19.6-26.5 N.m (2.0-2.7 kgf.m, 14.5-19.5 lb-ft)
