Power Circuit Inspection

2017 Kia Rio EX, 4D HatchbackSECTION Power Circuit Inspection

Open or Short Check 

  1. IG "ON".
  2. Measure voltage between power terminal of the wheel speed sensor harness connector and chassis ground.

    Specification:  Approx. B+

  3. Is the measured value within specifications?

    YES 

    NO 

    • Repair open or short in power circuit between HECU harness connector and wheel speed sensor sensor-harness connector and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
    • If there is no problem in Power circuit, Substitute with a known-good HECU and check for proper operation. If problem is corrected, replace HECU and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
