Ignition Circuit Inspection
2015 Kia Soul EV BaseSECTION Ignition Circuit Inspection
- Measure voltage between pin No. 5 (ignition) terminal of IBAU harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification:
- IG ON: Approx. 12V
- EV Mode (Drive Mode): Approx. 14V
- Is the measured value within specifications~
YES
- Go to "GROUND CIRCUIT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Check the status of the IBAU 10A smart gunction box. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "Verification Of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
- If OK, check DTCs in LDC system. If there is a code related to vehicle, Repair according to DTC diagnostic guide of LDC system.
