Monitor GDS Data

2015 Kia Soul EV BaseSECTION Monitor GDS Data
  1. Connect GDS to Data Link Connector(DLC).
  2. Check the "Current Data" with GDS.

  3. Are the parameters displayed correctly?

    YES 

    • Fault might be intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or ECU's connector or was repaired and ECU memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "Verification Of Vehicle Repair " procedure.

    NO 

    • Go to Next procedure.
  4. Check "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)" about VMCU using GDS.

  5. VMCU system about related DTC exist?

    YES 

    • Repair according to DTC diagnostic guide of VMCU system.

    NO 

    • Go to Next step procedure.
  6. Check "Current Data" about VMCU using GDS.

  7. Are the parameters displayed correctly?

    YES
