Repair Procedures: Removal

2015 Kia Soul Base, Standard TransSECTION Removal
  1. Remove the air cleaner assembly.

    (Refer to "AIR CLEANER ")

  2. Remove the battery and battery tray.

    (Refer to "BATTERY ")

  3. Set shift lever to "N" position.
  4. Remove the control cable from the control shaft after remove the pin (A) and washer (B).

  5. Remove the control shaft assembly after loosen the bolts.

    Tightening torque:Β 

    19.6 ~ 26.5 N.m (2.0 ~ 2.7 kgf.m, 14.5 ~ 19.5 lb-ft)
