Repair Procedures: Installation
2015 Kia Soul Base, Standard TransSECTION Installation
NOTE:
When installing, set room side shift lever and T/M side lever to "4th" gear position.
- Tighten the nut (B) after install the retainer (A).
Tightening torque:Β
11.8 ~ 14.7 N.m (1.2 ~ 1.5 kgf.m, 8.7 ~ 10.8 lb-ft)
- Check the Shift lever is in "4th" gear position.
- Install the cable socket (A) on the shift lever assembly.
- Install the shift cable (B) after installing the clip (A).
- Install the select cable socket (C) on the shift lever assembly.
- Install the clip (A) after installing the select cable (B).
- Install the bracket (A).
- Install the rear heating joint duct (A).
- Install the floor console assembly.
(Refer to "FLOOR CONSOLE ")
- Rotating clockwise shift lever knob (A).
- Install the control cable (B) and clip (A) on the bracket.NOTE: Do not reuse the clip (A).
