Repair Procedures: Removal

2015 Kia Soul Base, Automatic TransSECTION Removal
  1. Change the shift lever to "N" range.
  2. Remove the valve body assembly.

    (Refer to "FLUID ")

  3. Disconnect the input & output speed sensor connector (A).
  4. Loosen the main connector bolt (B).

    Tightening torque:Β 

    9.8 ~ 11.8 N.m (1.0 ~ 1.2 kgf.m, 7.2 ~ 8.7 lb-ft)

  5. Disconnect the solenoid valve connector (A).
  6. Remove the solenoid valve connector clip (B) after loosening a bolt and then remove the connector by pushing down to it.
