Repair Procedures: Removal

2015 Kia Soul Base, Automatic TransSECTION Removal
  1. Remove the shift lever knob & boots assembly (A) by Pulling in the upside.

  2. Remove the floor console assembly.

    (Refer to "FLOOR CONSOLE ")

  3. Remove the rear heating joint duct (A).

  4. Disconnect the shift lever main connector.

  5. Remove the wiring (A) from the shift lever assembly.

  6. Remove the shift cable (A) from the shift lever assembly.

  7. Remove the shift lever assembly (A) by removing the bolts.

    Tightening torque:Β 

    8.8 ~ 13.7 N.m (0.9 ~ 1.4 kgf.m, 6.5 ~ 10.1 lb-ft)
