DTC C1702: Variant Coding Error: General Description
ECU hardware is not differ by vehicle specification but vehicle parameter used on ESC (ESP) control is different, therefore software is different. Based on received data (Engine Type, Engine Displacement, T/M type) through CAN communication line, HECU ECU stores Variant Code value on ECU memory. Based on this data, HECU reads parameter value and controls ESC (ESP).

When to See a Mechanic
