Repair Procedures: Removal
2015 Kia Soul !SECTION Removal
- Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Remove the crash pad lower panel.
(Refer to "CRASH PAD LOWER PANEL ")
- Remove the steering column upper and lower shrouds.
(Refer to "STEERING COLUMN SHROUD PANEL ")
- Remove the wiper switch.
(Refer to MULTIFUNCTION SWITCH )
- Remove the ignition switch after loosening disconnecting the ignition switch 6P connector (A).
- Remove the ignition switch assembly (A) after loosening the mounting bolts.
- If it is necessary to remove the key lock cylinder (A), it is in the order as below.
- Disconnect the key warning/immobilizer connector (A)
- Turn the key to ACC (A).
- Remove the key lock cylinder (B) while pushing the removal/installation button under the key cylinder (A).
