Signal Circuit Inspection
2015 Kia Rio SX, 4D HatchbackSECTION Signal Circuit Inspection
- Open Check
- IG OFF.
- Disconnect the clutch switch and HECU connector.
- Measure resistance of clutch signal terminal between the clutch switch and HECU harness connector.
- Measure resistance between ground terminal of clutch switch harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification : Below 1Ω
- Is the measured value within specifications?
YES
- Go to " 2Short Check" procedure.
NO
- Repair open in clutch switch circuit between battery and HECU harness connector and then, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
- Short Check
- IG OFF.
- Disconnect the clutch switch and HECU connector.
- Measure resistance between clutch signal terminal of the clutch switch harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification : Below 1Ω
- Is the measured value within specifications?
YES
- Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Repair open in clutch switch circuit between battery and HECU harness connector and then, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
