Adjusting The Control Cable
2015 Kia Rio EX, 4D SedanSECTION Adjusting The Control Cable
- Set room side AT lever(shift lever) and automatic transaxle side manual control lever to "N" position.
- Connect control cable to room side AT lever(shift lever).
- Fix temporary control cable (A) in automatic transaxle side manual control lever.
- Push the control cable (A) lightly to "F" direction shown to eliminate the free play.
- Tighten the adjusting nut (B).
Tightening torque:Β
9.8 ~ 14.7 N.m (1.0 ~ 1.5 kgf.m, 7.2 ~ 10.8 lb-ft)
- After adjusting, check that this part operates at each range of the manual control lever corresponding to each position of the AT lever(shift lever).
