DTC DETECTING CONDITION

  • Check fuel tank under pressure during evacuation
  1. Fuel filler cap damage or missing
  2. Faulty or damaged fuel filler pipe
  3. Leaking, disconnected or plugged fuel vapor lines
  4. Faulty CCV

  6. Faulty Canister
  7. Faulty Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor (FTPS)
Enable Conditions
  • Coolant temperature > 50Β°C (122Β°F)
  • Ambient air temperature model > -10Β°C (14Β°F)
  • Vehicle speed < 10km/h (6 mph)
  • Time after start > 100 Seconds
  • Limited Canister saturation
  • Estimated altitude < 2.4km (8000 ft)
  • Canister load < 0.25
  • Minimum canister purge time: 3~25 Seconds
  • -1100 Pa < Differential fuel tank Pressure < 400 Pa
  • Idle speed engine operating state
  • No relevant failure
  • 11V < Battery voltage < 16V
Threshold Value case 1
  • Time to generate under pressure (<-15hPa) > 20 Seconds (too long)
case 2
  • Time for DTP to decrease from -300 Pa (-3 hPa) to -700 Pa (-7 hPa) during Evacuation > 10 Seconds
Diagnostic Time case 1
  • 25 Seconds in Idle when all Enable Conditions fulfilled
case 2
  • 15 Seconds in Idle when all Enable Conditions fulfilled
