Repair Procedures: Removal
2015 Kia Optima SX TurboSECTION Removal
- Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Remove the driver crash pad lower panel.
Refer to CRASH PAD LOWER PANEL REPLACEMENT .
- Remove the steering column upper and lower shrouds.
Refer to SHROUD REPLACEMENT .
- Remove the wiper switch.
Refer to REMOVAL .
- Remove the ignition switch after disconnecting the ignition switch 6P connector (A)
- Remove the key warning/immobilizer connector (A).
- After loosening the screw, remove the key warning switch and key Illumination (A).
- Pushing lock pin with key ACC.
- Remove the key lock cylinder (A).
