System Inspection
2015 Kia Optima Hybrid EXSECTION System Inspection
- Check installation condition
- Check installation condition of sensor.
- Has problem been found?
YES
- Reinstall the sensor to correct position, and then, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Go to Next step procedure.
- Check the front drive shaft tone wheel condition
- Perform visual check condition of the front drive shaft tone wheel as shown below.
- Has problem been found?
YES
- Repair or replace the front driveshaft, and then, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Go to Next step procedure.
- Check air gap
- Check air gap between the sensor and tone wheel using filler gauge.
Air gap 0.4 ~ 1.2mm - Is the measured value within specifications?
YES
- Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Repair or replace the front driveshaft, and then, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
- Check air gap between the sensor and tone wheel using filler gauge.
