Sensor software version mis-match check
- Check for software version on the BSD sensor label.
- Ignition "OFF" and then "ON".
- Monitor "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)" with GDS.
- Is DTC status displayed as Present?
YESΒ
- Substitute with a known-good BSD ECU and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace BSD ECU and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIRΒ " procedure.
- In case of BSD ECU is replaced, BSD Radar Calibration and BSD Variant Coding must be performed.
NOΒ
- Repair as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIRΒ " procedure.
BSD Radar Calibration
- Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
- Ignition "ON".
- Select "Vehicle S/W Management" with GDS.
- Select "BSD Radar Calibration" under Vehicle S/W Management.
- Refer to following procedure to perform Vehicle S/W Management.
