APSM Signal Circuit Inspection
2015 Kia K900 V8SECTION APSM Signal Circuit Inspection
■ Check CAN High Line
- IG "ON" & ENG "OFF".
- After connect GDS, select "Oscilloscope" mode.
- Connect T-connector and measure signal waveform between Pin No. 4 (B-CAN High) terminal of APSM harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Refer to "SIGNAL WAVEFORM "
- Does the measured signal waveform follow the specification?
YES
- Go to "CAN Low Line Inspection" procedure below.
NO
- Check short to battery or ground. Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
■ Check CAN Low Line
- IG "ON" & ENG "OFF".
- After connect GDS, select "Oscilloscope" mode.
- Connect T-connector and measure signal waveform between Pin No. 5 (B-CAN Low) terminal of APSM harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Refer to "SIGNAL WAVEFORM "
- Does the measured signal waveform follow the specification?
YES
- Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Check short to battery or ground. Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
