Monitor GDS Data

2015 Kia K900 V8SECTION Monitor GDS Data
  1. Ignition OFF and Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. Ignition "ON" & engine "OFF".
  3. Select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)"  mode and monitor "DTC Status" parameter.
  4. Is the DTC present?

    YES 

    NO 

    • This code is set for a second because of a poor connect of Head unit connector or did not clear the DTC.

      Check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
