Repair Procedures: Installation
2015 Kia Forte5 SX, Standard TransSECTION Installation
NOTE:
- When installing, set room side Shift lever and T/M side lever to N position.
- Install the control cable (B) and clip (A) on the bracket.
- Install the washer (B) and pin (A).
- Tighten the nut (B) after install the retainer (A).
Tightening Torque:
11.8 ~ 14.7 N.m (1.2 ~ 1.5 kgf.m, 8.7 ~ 10.8 lb-ft)
- Install the cable socket (A) on the shift lever assembly.
- Install the shift cable (B) and clip (A).
- Shift lever to "3rd".
- Install the snap pin (A) after install the select cable (B).CAUTION:
- Install the snap pin (A) after adjust the select cable (B).

- Install the snap pin (A) after adjust the select cable (B).
