Repair Procedures: Removal

2015 Kia Forte5 EXSECTION Removal

  1. Remove the floor console assembly.

    (Refer to "FLOOR CONSOLE ")

  2. Remove the rear heating joint duct (A).

  3. Disconnect the connector (A).

  4. Disconnect the shift cable (A).

  5. Remove the Shift lever assembly.
    1. Disconnect the wiring (A) from the shift lever assembly.
    2. Loosen the mounting bolts (B).

      Tightening Torque:Β 

      (B) 8.8 ~ 13.7 N.m (0.9 ~ 1.4 kgf.m, 6.5 ~ 10.1 lb-ft)
