Monitor DTC Status

2015 Kia Forte5 EXSECTION Monitor DTC Status
  1. Ignition ON & Vehicle "STOP".
  2. Connect GDS and select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)"Β  with GDS.
  3. Erase DTC with GDS.
  4. Re-check for DTCs in the system.
  5. Is DTC stored in the system?

    YESΒ 

    • Go to Next procedure.

    NOΒ 

    • Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or Control module's connector or was repaired and Control module's memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIRΒ " procedure.
