- Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
- Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature.
- Monitor "Actual Engine Speed", "Condition for O2 Sensor Upstream Heating Switch ON", "Condition for O2 Sensor Downstream Heating Switch ON", "O2 Sensor Linear Type Bank1 Upstream (Option)", "O2 Sensor Binary Type Bank1 Downstream (Option)" parameter on the "Current data" with GDS.
- Are the parameters displayed correctly?

- Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or ECM/PCM's connector or was repaired and ECM/PCM memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, ending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIRΒ " procedure.
