- Ignition "OFF"
- Disconnect Battery (-) terminal.
- Refer to "appropriate service information" and disconnect Brake Lamp Relay connector.
- Measure resistance between Pin No. 1 (Ground) terminal of brake lamp relay harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Approx. below 1Ω
- Is measured value within specification?
YES
Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Repair open or short in ground circuit of Brake Lamp Relay harness connector and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
