Signal Circuit Inspection
2014 Kia Soul Base, Standard TransSECTION Signal Circuit Inspection
- Ignition "OFF".
- Disconnect Battery (-) terminal.
- Ignition "ON".
- Measure signal waveform between Pin No. 9 (Local CAN High) terminal of SRS Control Module harness connector and chassis ground.
- Measure signal waveform between Pin No. 21 (Local CAN Low) terminal of SRS Control Module harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Local CAN High: Max. Approx. 4V/Min. Approx. 2.5V
Local CAN Low: Max. Approx. 2.6V/Min. Approx. 1.2V
- Is measure value within specification?
YES
- Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
- If problem still occurs, replace SRS Control Module and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
