Threshold Value
  • Pre-Steering Position Sensor Offset and calculated average Steering Position Sensor offset difference is more than 25 deg upon driving over 30 km/h (Approx. 18.6 mph) and stabilized condition. 1)
  • Sensor value is out of physical steering angle for more than 600 msec. 2)
  • Sensor value difference is more than 40 deg for more than 40 msec. 3)
Warning Indicator Lamp Status
  • ESC (ESP) Warning Indicator Lamp "ON"
Clear Condition
  • In case of 1) condition: Ignition "OFF" and then "ON"
  • In case of 2), 3) condition: Ignition "OFF" and then "ON" and Vehicle speed over 12 km/h (Approx. 7 mph)
