DTC C1237: Primary Pressure Sensor-Signal: General Description

2014 Kia Soul Base, Standard TransSECTION General Description

The pressure sensor, embedded in the HECU, senses the brake oil pressure and send signal to HECU to judge the driver's brake intention when the ESC (ESP) is operated. When pressure is applied to the sensor, the resistance of the sensor's strain gauge changes. The change in resistance changes the voltage output from the sensor.
