Ground Circuit Inspection
2014 Kia Soul Base, Standard TransSECTION Ground Circuit Inspection
- IG "OFF".
- Disconnect Battery (-) terminal.
- Disconnect SRS Control Module connector.
- Measure resistance between Pin No. 10 (Ground) terminal of SRS Control Module harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Approx. below 1Ω
- Is the measured value within specifications?
YES
- Go to "SIGNAL CIRCUIT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Repair open or short in ground circuit of SRS Control Module harness connector and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
