2010 Kia Rondo LX, 2.7 6SECTION DTC Description

The PCM monitors the temperature difference between MAX and MIN IATS in order to detect movement in the IATS during Start Test and Drive Test, while operating under Enable Conditions (shown in DTC DETECTING CONDITION CHART). If the PCM detects that the intake air temperature changes less than 3Β°C (5.4 Β°F), the PCM determines that a fault exists and a DTC is stored. The MIL (Malfunction Indication Lamp) turns on when the malfunction lasts for 2 consecutive driving cycles.
