Component Inspection
2010 Kia Rondo LX, 2.7 6SECTION Component Inspection
- Visual Inspection
- Check if the MAFS is damaged, contaminated, or deformed.
- Check if the air cleaner is clogged.
- Has a problem been found?
YES
- Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIRΒ " procedure.
NO
- Go to "Β 2 Check MAFS" as follows
- Check MAFS
- IG "OFF" and install scantool.
- ENG "ON" and monitor "MAFS" data.
- Monitor signal waveform at terminal 1 of MAFS with scantool.
Specification: Signal waveform will be displayed as shown in illustrations. (Be aware that the signal of the MAFS is not a voltage display, but rather a frequency display.)
