Signal Circuit Inspection

- Check signal circuit voltageÂ
- IG key OFF.
- Disconnect 'CRUISE REMOCON SWITCH' connector.
- IG key ON.
- Measure voltage between 'Signal (Cruise SW) ' terminal of 'CRUISE REMOCON SWITCH' harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification : 4.8V~5.1V
- Is the measured value within specification?
YESÂ
- Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTIONÂ " procedure.
NOÂ
- Go to "Check short in signal circuit" as follows.
- Check short in signal circuitÂ
- IG key OFF.
- Disconnect 'CRUISE REMOCON SWITCH' connector and ECM (PCM) connector.
- Check resistance between 'Signal (Cruise SW) ' terminal and 'CRUISE MAIN' terminal of 'CRUISE REMOCON SWITCH' harness connector.
- Check resistance between 'Signal (Cruise SW) ' terminal and 'Ground (Cruise SW) ' terminal of 'CRUISE REMOCON SWITCH' harness connector.
Specification : Infinite
- Is the measured value within specification?
YESÂ
- Go to "Check open in signal circuit" as follows.
NOÂ
- Repair short in signal circuit, and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIRÂ " procedure.
- Check open in signal circuitÂ
- IG key OFF.
- Disconnect 'CRUISE REMOCON SWITCH' connector and ECM (PCM) connector.
- Measure resistance between 'Signal (Cruise SW) ' terminal of 'CRUISE REMOCON SWITCH' harness connector and 'Signal (Cruise SW) ' terminal of ECM (PCM) connector.
Specification : Below 1.0Ω
- Is the measured value within specification?
YESÂ
- Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTIONÂ " procedure.
NOÂ
- Repair open between 'Signal (Cruise SW) ' terminal of 'CRUISE REMOCON SWITCH' harness connector and 'Signal (Cruise SW) ' terminal of ECM (PCM) connector, and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIRÂ " procedure.
