Repair procedures: Removal
2010 Kia Forte EX, StandardSECTION Removal
- Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Remove the driver airbag module (A). (Refer to the AIRBAG MODULE (RESTRAINTS - ADVANCED) or AIRBAG MODULE (RESTRAINTS - DEPOWERED) )
- Remove the steering wheel. (Refer to STEERING COLUMN AND SHAFT )
- Remove the steering wheel cover after loosening the 4 screws.
- Remove the hands free remote control switch (A) after removing the steering wheel remote control switch connector (B) and 2 screws.
