REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
2. Remove outside rearview mirror garnish.
(1) Remove garnish from door frame.
(2) Disconnect electrical connector.
3. Remove outside rearview mirror.
(1) Remove bolts(3) and clip(1).
Tightening torque : bolt
5-7 Nm (0.5-0.7 kg-m, 4-5 lb-ft)
(2) Disconnect electrical connector.
4. Remove mirror.
CAUTION:
Wear gloves to remove and install the mirror holder
(1) Insert flat bladed screwdriver between the outside rearview mirror holder and the mirror assembly.
5. Remove outside rearview mirror actuator.
CAUTION:
When prying with a flat bladed screwdriver, wrap it with a shop towel to prevent damage.
(1) Remove the outside rearview mirror actuator from the outside rearview mirror housing.
6. Install in reverse order of removal.
