Vertical Acceleration Sensor: Testing and Inspection

1. With component connector still connected, connect voltmeter between terminal 3 (BLU/GRN) and ground.
2. Turn ignition switch ON (ENGINE OFF)
3. Tap the chassis acceleration sensor bracket with wrench.
4. Verify that voltage spike (less than 1 V) is output from chassis acceleration sensor.




5. If no voltage spike is observed, replace chassis acceleration sensor.
