Safety Warning
DIY auto repair can cause serious injury, fire, or vehicle damage. These guides are for informational purposes only. Always follow OEM torque specs, wear PPE, and consult a certified mechanic if you are unsure. You are solely responsible for your safety.
Theory Of Operation
The Night Vision driver assistance feature enhances driver vision in low visibility conditions. The Night Vision Processing Module (NVPM) receives image information from the Night Vision Camera over a shielded LVDS cable, processes the digital image, and outputs digital video to the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) display using a shielded LVDS cable.
The NVPM monitors the communication circuits to the Body Control Module (BCM) and LVDS cable between the Night Vision Camera and the NVPM for errors.
For additional information regarding the description, operation, and system signals of the Night Vision Assistance. Refer to DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION .
