Door Switch Module

2023 Jeep Wagoneer Series II, RWDSECTION Door Switch Module
DOOR SWITCH MODULE

Refer to COMPONENT INDEXΒ .

There are four door switch modules on this vehicle:

  • Low Current Driver Window Lift Switch (DWLS)
  • Low Current Passenger Window Lift Switch (PWLS)
  • Low Current Rear Right Window Lift Switch (RRWLS)
  • Low Current Rear Left Window Lift Switch (RLWLS)

The driver door switch bank module receives input from all four window lift switch modules and from the DDM on the LIN bus.

The driver door switch bank contains an internal LIN transceiver and uses this to communicate switch requests to the DDM.

Each rear door has its own window lift switch. These rear switches can have two or four positions; depending on how it is equipped.

The switch module backlighting is tied to the panel lamps driver of the interior lamps system. When the headlamp switch is turned ON, the switch modules Light Emitting Diodes (LED) illuminate.
