Rack And Pinion - Right Hand Drive (RHD): Removal

- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE

1 - Torque Sensor Wire Harness Connector - DO NOT disconnect the torque sensor wire harness connector.
- Remove the front crossmember. Refer to CROSSMEMBER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

1 - Steering Rack Front Bolts 2 - Tie Rod End Nut 3 - Steering Rack Rear Bolts 4 - Steering Rack Bracket Bolts (Short) 5 - Steering Rack Bracket Bolts (Long) - Disconnect the outer tie rod ends from the steering knuckles and DISCARD the nuts. Refer to TIE ROD, STEERING, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove the steering rack front bolts.
- Remove the steering rack rear bolts.
- Remove the steering rack bracket bolts (short).
- Remove the steering rack bracket bolts (long).
- Remove the brackets.
- Remove the steering rack from the vehicle.
