Adjustable Chime Volume
The customer has three available volume setting in the customer programmable settings menu for the audible park assist chime warning level.
The PAM receives a gated request through the BCM for the volume setting information from the park assist system from the IPC. In the event the IPC signal is not received, the default volume signal is set to medium.
When the IPC signal to the PAM is equal to low, medium or high the PAM sends the appropriate level warning chime to the front or the rear of the vehicle.
