TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE ASSEMBLY (TCMA)Β 

NOTE:

If only one of the temperature sensors has failed and the MIL is not illuminated, do not perform any temperature sensor related repairs. The TCM will use the other two sensors to calculate the proper transmission operation.

  1. With the scan tool, read Transmission Control Module (TCM) DTCs and record on the repair order.
  2. Replace and program the TCM in accordance with the Service Information. Refer to MODULE, TRANSMISSION CONTROL (TCM), REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  3. Perform the TRANSMISSION VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to TRANSMISSION VERIFICATION TEST .
