Condition One:Β 

  • Positive engine torque is transmitted when no positive torque is commanded by the Transmission Control Module (TCM).
  • The difference of the transmitted engine torque and the requested engine torque is greater than a calibrated threshold.

Condition Two:Β 

  • Actual engine torque request and the delivered engine torque request sent via BUS is greater than a calibrated threshold.

Condition Three:Β 

  • A positive engine torque request is sent via BUS and no positive torque request was calculated by the TCM.

Condition Four:Β 

  • The engine torque for the calculated gear is less than a calibrated threshold.

Condition Five:Β 

  • The difference between the actual engine torque and the requested negative engine torque is greater than a calibrated threshold.

Condition Six:Β 

  • A negative engine torque request is sent via BUS and no negative torque request was calculated by the TCM.
